Meet Ann & Hannah Pittao

Prior to owning Stepping Out, Ann was known by family and friends as being an amazing shopper. Now, she is an even better shopper for her customers. Motivated by the unique one-on-one experience she provides for her clientele, Ann ensures every woman leaves her store with fashionable pieces complement their wardrobe for years to come. While she loved her previous life as a stay at home mother for her three children, as they grew up she felt she needed a new venture to explore. With a passion for fashion, and a desire to continue the Stepping Out legacy in Essex, Ann gladly took over the 20-year-old business. When not managing the store, Ann adores travelling and cooking Italian cuisine for her family and friends. Even as an Essex County resident for 20+ years, she still can’t get enough of the fresh locally-grown produce stands and weekend events that truly make Essex a unique community. Ann now operates her business with her daughter Hannah as a "mother daughter duo", bringng stylish fashion options to any customer that walks through their doors!
