The Beerded Dog is a family friendly local pub in Harrow, Ontario. Offering a clean, cozy, and family friendly environment, with both indoor and outdoor dining, The Beerded Dog aims to please everyone from the craft beer connoisseur to the family on a night out. The Beerded Dog aims to support growth in the community that supported them. They believe in buying and supporting local as well as working hard to make people happy and feel welcome. Beers are rotated often and pair well with their delicious pub-style cuisine, such as The Warm Pretzel, The Spicy Buffalo Chicken Poutine, and The Samuel L. Jackson Burger.

Meet Kim and Rae

The story of The Beerded Dog started when Kim, a former coffee shop owner and Rae, a former Canadian Army Reservist, met while being employed at Caesars Windsor. In 2018, Kim and Rae purchased a home brewing kit on a whim, which eventually led them to decide to open their own microbrewery. As if it was meant to be, the building that they now operate out of was for sale. A beautiful building with a storied history, Kim and Rae ended up purchasing the building and The Beerded Dog expanded into what you see today, a full restaurant. Outside of running the restaurant, Kim and Rae are huge supporters of rescue dogs, with two of their own (Joy and Ivy), who actually inspired the Beerded Dog name!
